Where can the mother go to relax? A “Mother’s Retreat” was the thought behind this room. The room was arranged for reading, naps, making scrapbooks, and sewing. The walls were painted a complex color which changes as the light changes. A chair and ottoman was slip-covered to cut costs and add the ability to change the look. The room also served as a guest room.
