The goals for this insurance office were to provide welcome and comfort for those who enter. The shape of the space was extremely long. To square it off, workstations and a conference room were designed as “rooms” within the room. The open feeling was maintained by having the walls not extend to the ceiling. The shorter walls provide natural light to the entire office and cut energy costs. The warm earthly colors brighten the office during the winter grayness. The overall effect is positive for my client. His clients are comfortable and he loves working in the space.
