My father taught me to build. “Measure twice, cut once and make life simple” was his motto. Design was a natural evolution of building.

My involvement with design has been exhilarating, cross-cultural, hands-on, soul nurturing and best of all invigorating. The synergy of working with others mixed with the technological and informational advances has kept me on my toes.

In 1996 I decided to take a leap and combine my passion with my work by starting a design business. It’s a lot like raising a child: great joy and great challenge. Luckily my focus has kept me on track. It has been three-pronged:

• Listening, observing, and learning
• Considering the impact of my design choices on both people and the environment
• Finding a common ground to meet the physical requirements of all ages.

Residential and small office suites are my areas of design. I like working with spaces that can reflect the personality and culture of my clients.
