A farm kitchen – it began with a sink. This space was totally reconfigured. An open kitchen that used volume, multiple finishes, and uneven lines was designed to create an inviting atmosphere. Windows and direct access to the garden enable the cook to keep track of her children and keep the herbs within reach for her savory dishes. A cozy banquette conserved space allowing for more storage and a writing area. It remains a gathering place for the family, food, and homework.
