“The Ranch” is a place where creativity and love of the land always exists. The kitchen was to be well used and needed to accommodate many cooks at the same time. The materials were to be durable and simple. Floor tile was used for the countertops, a bar top was made out of a tree that had been logged from the ranch, and the floor was tan oak which was milled locally. Communication and jokes were enhanced by the use of a white board on the refrigerator doors. The cabinet pulls were made from rocks gathered from the nearby creeks.

The simplicity of this kitchen is a great backdrop for creativity. Family and friends take center stage here.
